Crazy Water
Crazy Water is a small, okay “quaint,” restaurant but has great food and a nice wine list. It is a tiny house-turned-restaurant, and you can literally see the corner where all the food made. The kitchen looks smaller than most apartment kitchens, but there is apparently a prep kitchen in upstairs to help out. However, the food was great — especially the scallops. Even dessert was good, even though Chris was skeptical. Be prepared to interact with your fellow diners, especially if they are the friendly Milwaukee sort, because you are sitting very close to them. Also, make reservations because Crazy Water only seats 45 people, and it has been one of the few places in Milwaukee that has been packed the entire time we were there.
Balzac Wine Bar
****
This is a great little place right off Brady Street and only a few blocks from our apartment. Large selection of wines, with fun flights to try. The menu is 1/4 cheese plates and has a nice variety of small entrée plates to pair with the wine and cheese.
Bacchus
A wonderful evening with the Roenbaugh family at Bacchus. Great wine list (we sampled a few) and great atmosphere.

Review: The Knick
Jen and I had dinner last night at The Knick. A resturant just arround the corner from our appartment. Jen had a mojito, and I had a beer. We recomend the mojito, but stay away from the margarita. For dinner we shared the fish tacos. They were really good.
