Ryans Visit Milwaukee
James, Kay, Chris and I had a great time goofing around Milwaukee last weekend. Mom and Dad made the long drive up to Wisconsin and enjoyed scenic Iowa too.

Bastille Days in Wisconsin
Definitely not France, but Milwaukee celebrates Bastille Day nonetheless. Actually, it celebrates it for several days, and the festival has blocked my route to work. Since I was a little upset about that, Chris and I decided to check the festival out. We did not, however, participate in the 5 k run to simulate the “storming of the bastille,” but we did eat a crepe, drink some wine, and watch a song or two by the Big Bad Voodoo Daddies.
Baby Cuda
Trisha and Jason had a happy and healthy little boy, Aidyn, on July 11. Hopefully, we will have some baby pics soon! Baby is fine, but Mom could be doing a little better. Trisha says the hospital staff is great, and all sorts of family is town to watch after her.

Australian Visitor
At Michelle’s wedding, I met a farm girl from down under. Angela was traveling through the U.S. and was going to pass through Milwaukee! There was no way I was going to let her miss the culture that my new city has to offer. So, she stopped in during her travels, and we went to Miller Brewing and took the tour. Talk about culture! More photos here.
Fishing
I went fishing over the weekend. Didn’t catch anything longer than your finger.
Here is a link to a good Wisconsin fishing website.
